ABOUT MY ‘FOUR CORNERS’ MET TOUR

One year ago someone took me to the MET late on a Saturday night.

The museum was almost empty, and I was totally captivated. The lighting and the size and the scale of everything made me feel good.

I came back to the museum the next weekend and explored more. And then I came back again and again, usually in two hour intervals.
~~

I do not pretend to be an art historian.
I know very little about art.

This is simply a tour of my favorite pieces at the Met right now. About twelve, literally spread across all four corners of the building.

You can expect amateur commentary such as, “I like the color of this”  and “I want to steal this one.”

At the end of my tour, I hope we will have become closer through our shared appreciation of art.
