Hotel Room Review: Sheraton Suites Wilmington Downtown

Here’s a video walkthrough and photos of my room at the Sheraton Suites in Wilmington, Delaware. I stayed 1 night on Oct 20th, 2016 and booked it via HotelTonight. Paid $128 + $18 taxes and fees = total $146. I gave my SPG info at check-in and got upgraded to the SPG floor, suite upgrade, lounge access, etc.

First impressions: It’s a big room. Modern-ish furniture, clean, very spacious. Two televisions, plenty of counter space, microwave, refrigerator, etc.

The internet was decent, but nothing to write home about.

It hurts me to see no easily-accessible power plugs near the bed or the desk. I remember staying at The Standard Hotel East Village and they had power cables underneath the bed. It seemed tacky but at least it worked. Here, I have to dive under the bed or around the lamp wires and near the microwave to charge my phone.

The pool is small but functional, and the gym is tiny but all new equipment and lots of nice accessories (like foam rollers!).

There’s a bathrobe in the closet, and the material feels thin like a tablecloth (compared to fluffy like a beach towel). But it’s still nice.

The showerhead seems to get good reviews online. It’s a nice hotel room. The bed is firm, too, and I like firm beds. I’d come back. I feel like I can get work done here and I like the suite and I’m happy for the upgrade.
