A search for "aol red" turns up a great "only would this be a #2 on Google" result - A blogger's quick link to the Internal Memos pre-announcement. I guess there's not a lot of web information available about Red! About a month after his posting, weary searchers soon started turning up at his site to discuss the most important aspect of AOL RED- how to get rid of it!
AOL RED is stupid. it looks stupid, and the whole thing is dumb. how do i get rid of it. i want the regular aol back. pretty soon, im going to change internet companies.

There are dozens and dozens of similar quotes from equally Google-powered youngsters. Is this the reaction that AOL had in mindlinks to a memo from Jim Bankoff and Ted Leonsis at AOL, introducing and over-hyping the RED service?
