The Earthwatch Institute offers some pretty deck travel packages that combine vacation with edu-cation. Take a two week trip and help study the coral reefs of Mauritus, the desertification problem within Mongolia, or the polar bears of Manitoba. That last one has you travelling for the purpose of "investigating the role of play and the impact of ecotourism on the social lives of male polar bears." Ironic, much?
